Hello, my name is Jean Meyer, and I have a background in both
acting and live performances. I’ve had the opportunity to work as an extra on
two film sets in Beijing, each offering unique experiences. One of my roles
involved playing a teacher in a school setting, where I worked closely with a
cast and crew of about 20 people, including children. This was a week-long
shoot, with my scenes completed over two days. In another project, an
independent film, I had the chance to perform a small speaking role, filming
my part over the course of an evening during a four-day shoot.
In addition to my film experience, I’ve also performed as a stand-up
comedian in Beijing, with around ten shows under my belt, engaging audiences
ranging from 30 to 70 people. This has given me confidence in front of a
crowd and the ability to adapt quickly to different scenarios.
While I work full-time, I have developed a strong interest in acting, and
my previous experiences have deepened my curiosity and passion for the
industry. I genuinely enjoy the atmosphere of film sets, and I believe
On a physical level, I am a sporty person, having practiced various sports,
including football, kung fu, and tai ji. I’m also quite flexible and have
some equestrian experience, having ridden horses three times.
I would be thrilled to bring my energy and experience on some projects and
look forward to any opportunities.
