I have just started my journey as an actor and I never felt more comfortable and authentic than when I am in front of a camera. I was born in a small town in South Africa and never had many opportunities to perform in front of others. I am very shy in person and feel stuck in my own body. My mom noticed this from a young age and enrolled me in dance classes.
Through dancing and performing in shows like "The Nutcracker," she saw a positive change in me. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to continue pursuing this passion after school and went on to study architecture. I felt trapped and unfulfilled and had trouble expressing myself. When I came to Beijing, I was able to join a dance studio and even found an acting class. I was extremely nervous at first and had no idea how to "act."
However, something changed when I heard the director say the word "action." I was no longer Heleni. For the first time in forever, I was unaware of the world and was no longer shy or self-aware. Now, I have found a new passion and I am charging full steam ahead. I am diligent and open to constructive feedback to enhance my skills. My creativity is reflected in my acting, and I can fully immerse myself in my character's world, experiencing their emotions as if they were my own.

然而，当我听到导演说“表演”这个词时，情况发生了变化。我不再是赫莱尼了。这是我有生以来第一次对世界一无所知，不再害羞或自我意识。现在，我找到了新的激情，我正在全速前进。我勤奋努力，乐于接受建设性的反馈，以提高我的技能。我的创造力体现在我的表演中，我可以完全沉浸在角色的世界中，体验他们的情感，就像他们是我自己的一样。
