My name is Cao Xuexuan, and I am an actress. Since childhood, I have harbored a deep curiosity and passion for the arts. Influenced by my family, I also learned to play musical instruments. Through rigorous preparation, I was admitted to the Department of Theatre Literature at the Shanghai Theatre Academy. Despite this academic focus, my passion for stage performance has only grown stronger. My four years of university studies have laid a solid foundation for my career. Reading a wide range of dramatic scripts has helped me develop a profound understanding of theatre. Later, I transitioned to theatre performance and participated in a variety of productions, including stage plays, musicals, and immersive theatre. Additionally, I have expanded my repertoire to on-camera works such as micro-films, feature videos, and short dramas, while also working as a motion-capture and voice actor. Having explored various branches of performance, I have discovered a profound joy in human interaction. Ultimately, I believe that performing is about fully embodying a character. I hope to further refine my craft through this program and continue creating meaningful experiences for audiences.
