Mario Silva studied method acting at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute where he worked with actor/directors; Paul Calderon (Pulp Fiction), Vincent D`Onofrio (Full Metal Jacket). Mario is also part of the main cast for Live in Theatre, a Drama Desk nominated theatre company based in New York City. He is a co-founder of Cross Bronx Crew, an award winning theatre company. Recently he participated in Dubai’s Short&Sweet theatre festival; and won the best Actor Award. He also received the Best Actor Award 2021 at The Junction Awards for his theatrical performance in The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams portraying Tom Wingfield. Mario recently performed the character of Monchi Reyes in La Gringa by Carmen Rivera, it was performed in Miami at the Adrienne Arsht Center.
